Neil Hodgson started Motocross when he was 9 years old. He began
road racing at 16. His first race was at a Kart circuit in Middlesborough
in 1990 on a TZR 125 Mini-Stock bike. He won the Preston and District
Championship on it. In 1991 on a 125cc racing bike at the Power
bike Meeting at Brands Hatch, Neil broke the lap record.
In 1994 Neil was offered the opportunity to ride a 500cc for
Team WCM (now Team Red Bull Factory) Yamaha. Neil later signed
for Ducati before moving to Kawasaki in 1998. Eventually Neil
moved to GSE racing.In 2000 Neil won the British Superbike Championship
he also won 2 World Superbike races and took 2 World Superbike
pole positions.
